Maggie Dave founder and lead singer Sean David Christensen released his cover of Randy Newman’s “Same Girl” on May 24th, 2024. Produced by Daniel Weidlein (also performing piano and saxophone) and mastered by Ricky Berger, Christensen interprets this haunting selection from Newman’s songbook with a desolate vocal performance enveloped in disquieting instrumental layers arranged by Weidlein.
